Bart Samolis

Bart Samolis was born in USA but his origin is from Lithuania.

Having been a session bassist for many years, playing both orchestral music and rhythm section based music on countless scores for films and television (please see imdb below) Bart has had the privilege of hearing and studying the styles of most of the top composers in Hollywood. His opportunities as a composer have allowed him to incorporate all these influences and develop his own unique blend of sounds and style to tailor fit any media. His music has been heard in film, TV and radio both domestically and abroad.
As well as working as a composer, Bart has also performed and recorded with a wide variety of contemporary music acts including Peter Gabriel, Rod Stewart, Michael Bolton, The All American Rejects, Lori Andrews, Jon Secada, The Fifth Dimension and Barry Manilow. For the past 15 years, he has been musical director for the Academy Awards Sci-Tech division. A well rounded composer and bassist, he has also performed with the local symphony.
